This declaration is issued by Demag Plastics Machinery (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DCN”). In this declaration, DCN provides information on its latest REACH-related activities and relevant compliance status.

•          On December 18, 2006, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union formally adopted Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (hereinafter referred to as the “REACH Regulation”), which entered into force on June 1, 2007. On October 28, 2008, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) for the first time. The latest version of the Candidate List was published on February 4, 2026, and the updated list contains a total of 253 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs);

•          Article 33 of the REACH Regulation establishes obligations concerning the communication of information on substances in articles. The core requirement of this provision is as follows: where an article contains a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) in a concentration above 0.1% by weight (w/w), all suppliers of the article are required to inform downstream recipients and provide, at a minimum, the name of the substance;

•          DCN is solely an equipment manufacturer and does not manufacture chemical substances or mixtures. According to the definition set forth in Article 3(13) of the REACH Regulation, DCN is a downstream user. Therefore, DCN is neither required nor in a position to register or pre-register chemical substances;

•          DCN maintains close communication with all of its direct suppliers. The suppliers have confirmed that they understand the requirements of Article 33 of the REACH Regulation. In addition, DCN has established a supplier compliance management mechanism and continuously conducts compliance reviews of its upstream raw material and component suppliers, requiring all products supplied by them to comply with the applicable REACH requirements;

•          As of the date of issuance of this declaration, based on the information currently available to DCN and the documentation provided by its suppliers, none of DCN's products contain any substance included in the ECHA Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) effective as of the date of issuance of this declaration at a concentration exceeding 0.1% by weight (w/w). This declaration does not automatically

•          apply to products for which the product model, material formulation, or component supplier is subsequently changed, nor does it apply to customized products.

•          If ECHA updates the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs), or if changes to DCN's product models, materials, suppliers, or other relevant factors may result in changes to the concentration of substances included in the SVHC Candidate List, DCN will issue an updated declaration based on the then-current circumstances;

The information contained in this declaration is truthfully provided based on the supplier compliance documentation available to DCN as of the date of issuance of this declaration, the results of product verifications completed by DCN, and the ECHA Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) effective as of the date of issuance of this declaration; DCN has exercised reasonable supply chain due diligence and shall not assume any liability beyond that required by applicable law for inaccuracies resulting from suppliers' concealment of information, provision of false documentation, or other circumstances beyond DCN's control.

Based on the information available to DCN at the time of issuance of this declaration and the documentation provided by its suppliers, and provided that DCN has exercised reasonable due diligence, DCN assumes full legal responsibility for the truthfulness and accuracy of the contents of this declaration. DCN shall not be liable for any inaccuracies or inconsistencies resulting from false documentation provided by suppliers, updates to applicable laws or regulations or the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs), or other circumstances not attributable to DCN's intentional concealment of material facts or deliberate provision of false information.

This declaration is provided solely for the purpose of informing the recipient of the REACH compliance status of DCN products. Without DCN's prior written consent, this declaration may not be used for commercial promotion or public disclosure, resold to any third party, or licensed to any third party for use.
